Glastonbury Tor

Glastonbury Tor

This painting was inspired by my trip to Wales and England in 1994.
Glastonbury is a very special place and it has left a deep impression in
my heart based on my experiences there. It was said that the
chapel grounds below the Tor had been the the burial place of King Arthur,
side by side with his wife, Gwenivere. Sometimes known also as Avalon, Isle of Apples.
Original is acrylic on canvas. 16"x20" © 2000.
